What is topogigio mouse?

Topo Gigio is a fictional character, created in Italy in 1958 by artist Maria Perego. He is a little mouse with a friendly face and a kind heart. Topo Gigio became extremely popular in the 1960s and 1970s as the star of a children's television show in Italy and later in Latin America. He also appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show in the United States. Topo Gigio is known for his high-pitched voice and his catchphrase, "Eddy, kiss me goodnight!" which he would say before going to bed. He is still beloved by many, particularly in Italy and Latin America, and has inspired numerous toys and other merchandise.
